Hollywood is one of those fairytale ponies that everyone dreams of having! If you want your kid or grandkid to have the coolest ride in town with all the mane, forelock, and tail you could want, here he is! Hollywood might be 5 yrs old but he is as close to perfect as you will find, he is such an easy going, calm minded guy. He stands 12.3 hands and is as wide as he is tall big enough he can carry a small adult around! He has been hauled extensively and is great in new places even in town with traffic and down the sidewalks with people/dogs. Hollywood leads, loads, stands tied quietly, great to groom, bathes, saddles, and bridles! My girls catch and saddle him while riding their Segways, he couldn’t care less! My 7 yr old can do everything with Hollywood and I trust him around the smallest of kids! He rides Western or English, he would be a great short stirrup mount as he will even ease over small jumps fluently. He is truly the kind you don’t see offered for sale, he’s a part of our family and one of the favorites in the barn for all the visitors. Hollywood is 110% safe with absolutely NO kick or bite and has ZERO buck or freshness even if you leave him stalled for weeks at a time. He will W/T/L good circles, wants to stop hard, and turns around correct. He is extremely easy to ride with smooth gaits and genuinely wants to please. He side passes, opens and closes gates, picks up correct leads, and lopes easy circles. He is great inside the arena or out, he has been started on the barrels, poles, goat tying, and breakaway dummy. My 3 yr old beginner cousin has rode him in the round pen with zero issues. He has done lead-line as well and will take care of the babies! Hollywood is just the best pony and I haven’t had another one like him. Did I mention Hollywood does TRICKS?? He will lay down on command!! He is a gentle old soul that loves people and wants to be with you every second of the day! Easy to catch in a pasture, stalls good, and drinks/eats on the road. He has also been hauled to team ropings, ropes swinging and loud speaker systems don’t bother him a bit! Hollywood has all the outside experience as well, trail riding thru brush and thickets, crossing creeks, dragging logs, riding down the road with traffic, hog hunting, and working cows. He has seen it all and doesn’t ever take a bad step. He will take care of his rider and ease down the steep creek banks, walk slow and easy thru the water, and slow and steady up the other side. Hollywood will lead or follow in a pack, the other horses going without him doesn’t bother him at all. He will walk on a loose rein. He gets along with everything in our pasture including QH mares and geldings. Hollywood is easy to keep, we don’t have any special regimen for his hair, it stays thick and healthy year around. He is UTD on farrier, dewormer, and vaccinations. He is 100% sound and stays barefoot.
