Bella Luna 15 is a 13-year-old mare standing at 16.1 hh, sired by Balou du Rouet out of Escudo I x Wanderer. We acquired her in 2021 when she was 9 years old, and since then, she has been successfully competing in youth amateur show jumping, placing multiple times and winning several small classes. Luna is a very ambitious, talented, and honest horse with a pleasant go in the arena. She always wants to please, whether at home, in dressage, or on trail rides (including cross-country). 

However, she is not suitable for beginners, as she can sometimes be a bit spooky when ridden. In handling, she is very straightforward, which allowed me to go alone with her on trail rides and to competitions without issues. She also has no problem with free lunging or being ridden without a saddle. Naturally, she is farrier- and loading-friendly.

Luna also comes from a very good Hanoverian lineage on her dam’s side, with two successful siblings in S-level dressage (one at 145 cm and the other at 140 cm), making her potentially interesting for breeding after her sporting career. 

She is being sold due to lack of time because of my medical studies. X-rays from January 2021 show no findings. This is not an emergency sale; Luna deserves a wonderful new home at a fair price.
