Kalimera B is a well-developed, large-frame black stallion. He is beautifully built with a strong topline, long legs, correct conformation, and naturally good gaits, combined with an excellent temperament, making him ideally suited for dressage. We place great importance on healthy management and good handling. Therefore, our foals are always approachable and have a positive attitude! The mares with foals are kept in groups on large pastures day and night, and are supplemented with feed when necessary. Regular hoof care, deworming, and vaccinations are of course standard practice. The attached photos and videos speak for themselves!
His sire, Krügerand, was reserve champion at the Oldenburg licensing. In the first four generations of his pedigree, there are no fewer than ten sires who have achieved success at the highest international level. Krügerand descends from the Hanoverian mare line of Cabanda, also known as Pik Bube line. This is the successful family of the Pape dynasty. His granddam, Rebelle, was an Oldenburg premium mare and S-level dressage competitor. His great-granddam, Renomee, is a full sister to the stallion Riverside. Another example is the international dressage horse Santana by Sandro Hit/SWE, ridden by Minna Telde, as well as licensed stallions Donnerschlag and Dubrovnik, the latter being a stallion champion in NRW.
The dam, Queeny B, is very interestingly bred through Quaterhall, a son of Quaterback, out of a Donnerhall mare. Quaterhall was a highly active sire at the Hanoverian breeding station in Celle and achieved S-level success. His sire, Quaterback, who stands at the Neustadt/Dosse main and state stud, is currently among the top dressage sires on the WBFSH rankings. Queeny B comes from the Hanoverian mare line of Königstreue. Her pedigree also includes Londonderry / Lauries Crusador xx, and further back Waidmannsdank xx and twice Der Löwe xx, giving her 36.9% noble blood. It is also noteworthy that Queeny B carries the valuable Duelant bloodline twice.
In driving sports, Queeny B is also successful. Her daughter, Zip Zap by Zackery, qualified for the Bundeschampionat at just six years old.
