Bow Tie is a unique and versatile 16.3 hand tall holsteiner gelding that is just 5 yrs old. Yes just 5 yrs old!!! And has his whole life ahead of him. He was raised at the university in Wyoming. They spent a lot of time and energy training him the correct way. He had most of his training in low level dressage and jumping. He is such a pretty flat mover. Carries his head perfectly set. All of the hard work is done. He is ready for someone to get him and go on to do big things on him. The absolute best part about this big guy is he is an absolute puppy dog. He is so sweet and gentle. He is definitely a in your pocket type. He will see you coming and meet you at the gate. Excited to see you. Plus he rides just as gentle. You cannot make this guy get excited or act bad. He wants to please and wants to do a good job for you. He is hands down one of the coolest horses we have. We unfortunately do not ride dressage so we were not able to show him to his full capabilities. We ride western so while he has been here we have rode him western and let the kids ride him and enjoy him. They have had a blast loping him around. He has the silky jog and rocking chair lope to him. His lovely big long stride is so eye catching and pretty. He is so easy to ride. Just point and click. He is soft in a snaffle and comes into a frame effortlessly. Side passes, knows his leads, pivots, and has a great whoa button/back up! Bow Tie does not require any lunging prior to riding and is the same ride whether you ride him once a week, once a month, or once every 6 months. He is absolutely suitable for any level rider of any age. Even would work for complete beginners. He is safe. And I mean safe. He is never grumpy or in a bad mood. He has the most friendly sweetest personality. I can’t say that enough times!! He absolutely loves attention and wants to be around you. He is easy to catch/tie, stands quiet for mounting, especially when using a mounting block. With his training and temperament we know he will make a great partner for any youth or adult looking for confidence in and outside the show pen! Again he is safe with no buck/bolt/rear. No bad habits whatsoever. Sells 100% sound and ready to go. We recently dewormed, vaccinated, had his teeth floated, and pulled a new coggins. He requires no maintenance or special treatment! He can live a show horse lifestyle in a stall or be kicked out to the pasture. It’s doesn’t matter to him. Hops right in the trailer, trailers well, backs off like a gentleman.
