Breeding and sport

Excellent is a seven-year-old mare with a modern build and a light-footed jump. She has been used as a broodmare and can still be broken in, making her suitable for both sport and breeding. She shows a lot of blood on the jump, is quick off the ground and careful, with a good finish. Suitable for both sport and breeding.

With Emerald van ’t Ruytershoff as her sire and Quintago as her dam’s sire, Excellent has a very strong pedigree foundation. Emerald is now recognised worldwide as a producer of modern, reliable jumpers with scope and attitude.

Her granddam Ciebura VA has already produced several sporthorses, including the 1.45m jumper Camo. This mare line is also notable for tracing back to the famous mare Stella, a foundation mare known for producing numerous high-level showjumpers.

Excellent already shows natural quality and still has plenty of room for further development. A promising sport mare with a strong pedigree and potential — both for sport and for future breeding.
