With a heavy heart, I am selling my 10-year-old five-gaited gelding Vinur from the Alten Linde (sire: Kopernikus vom Heesberg) due to ceasing my riding activities. Vinur has been in my possession for nearly five years. He has clearly defined gaits, which he has already demonstrated successfully in competitions at the novice level, earning individual scores up to 6.0. His passport has not been trained yet. His tölt is lively and can be ridden over long distances without reins. I have also placed a strong emphasis on dressage during his training, so he is familiar with all lateral movements. He knows double longeing as well as regular longeing from the ground. He enjoys clicker training. He has always behaved impeccably at competitions and when at the blacksmith. Shoe removal and re-shoeing are no problem for him. 

In September 2024, Vinur suffered a tear of the deep flexor tendon in his right hind leg. He underwent surgery at a clinic in October 2024 for this injury. Since then, we have been in the recovery phase. He is now cleared for normal recreational activity, including regular rides and training sessions. His tendon has regenerated approximately 90%. According to the clinic, overexertion could potentially cause a recurrence of the problem.

Vinur is therefore being offered at a significantly reduced price and well below market value. I am seeking a loving and attentive new owner who can support him appropriately, train him with understanding and care according to his current condition, and give him the best possible home. If desired, his equipment can be purchased along with him.
