He is an excellent choice for kids, beginners, older riders, or anyone wanting a trustworthy trail partner with a smooth, comfortable gait.
He has been trail ridden all over the United States and has seen more than most horses ever will. He has covered all kinds of country and is used to unexpected situations on the trail, even the sudden jump scares that can come with grizzly bears. He is also accustomed to gunfire and can be ridden while shooting. With all of his experience, there isn't much that bothers him.
He was owned by an older gentleman who had him since he was a baby. When his owner could no longer get on and ride, he wanted to see him go somewhere he could continue being used and enjoyed rather than just sitting around.
Since coming into our barn, he has been an absolute pleasure to have around. There isn't a mean bone in his body. He is easy to ride, easy to handle, and has the seasoned, dependable mind that makes him the ultimate safe horse for just about anyone to enjoy.
He fits right into the herd, does well turned out or in a stall, and has no vices. He is exceptionally easy for the farrier and will even stand quietly without a halter on.
Horses with this combination of experience, kindness, smoothness, and dependability are incredibly hard to come by. If you're looking for a true anyone-can-ride horse with a lifetime of trail miles and the experience to take care of his rider, he's the real deal.
