With a heavy heart, we are searching for a new home for Idaho (Desperado x Sandreo), our big, gentle cuddle bear standing at 1.70 m. Idaho is a true lapdog: he always comes to you in the pasture, seeks attention, and clearly enjoys cuddling and contact. He loves being groomed and is well-behaved around people. He thrives on social interaction and prefers to be kept with other horses. Under saddle, Idaho has been used purely for recreational dressage and has not competed. He has beautiful, expressive gaits, including a very elegant canter, making him interesting for dressage. With a little refresher work, he can comfortably perform exercises up to M level (leg-yield, shoulder-in, counter-canter...). He has a pleasant character and enjoys working for his rider. We are looking for an experienced rider who is confident. Idaho is not suitable for beginners. He is strongly built and requires a calm, consistent approach. Once you’ve found his buttons, he’s a fantastic horse to ride. - Correctly vaccinated and dewormed annually - Well-behaved with farrier and veterinarian - Gentle and people-oriented character Pre-purchase inspections allowed at the buyer’s expense. Since Idaho is very dear to us, it’s important for us to find him a five-star home, and there is no rush. The reason for selling is simple: due to lack of time, I can no longer ride him at his level, and now that our 8-year-old daughter wants to start riding, but Idaho is not suitable for beginners, we will switch to a smaller, bombproof horse. Unfortunately, two horses are not an option for us. A good home is more important to us than the price, so Idaho is offered at a reasonable rate.
