Bonus VW will turn eight years old in 2026 and is currently competing at 1.25m level. He is a horse that is pleasant to ride, but clearly has a lot of go, especially in the canter. He wants to be careful over the jump, shows sufficient scope and has a good mentality. Due his forward way of going, he is not suitable for a beginner rider, but very well suited for a good amateur or for a professional rider looking for a reliable and enjoyable horse to take to shows. Bonus VW gives the rider a positive feeling, is cooperative and shows a genuine willingness to work.

Sire Bubalu VDL (Baloubet du Rouet x Nimmerdor) competed at 1.60m Grand Prix level and is regarded as a top sire. He produced several international 1.60m horses, including Hulahupe JR, Honeypenny W and Impian D. Through Baloubet du Rouet and Nimmerdor, this sire line is deeply rooted in international top sport.

Dam Alonza (Winningmood x Concorde) competed herself at 1.45m level and combines sport performance with breeding quality. She is a daughter of Winningmood, a 1.60m Grand Prix stallion and BWP ambassador, descending from the influential Darco line.

Second dam Santa Vile (Concorde) was also active in the sport and proved herself as a strong broodmare. From her line come Watch Me Ville (1.45m), Ciabeau (1.50m), Zero Limits (1.35m) and Harrie’s Girl (1.40m). Alonza herself also achieved international results, confirming the consistency of this family.

Third dam Hillkenvile (Renville) is at the base of an exceptionally broad performance line. This branch produced numerous international showjumpers, including Concordville (1.60m), Why Me (1.40m), Olstein-Vile (1.35m), Zafira(1.30m), Evangeline (1.30m), Fleur 438 (1.35m), Uville (1.30m), Aville (1.35m), Barichello (1.30m), Eville (1.45m) and Griffith (1.40m). A damline known for depth, durability and sport quality.

Fourth dam Killkeney forms the foundation of this strong performance family. From this line come Teacher (1.50m), Another One (1.30m), Splendor (1.60m), Armani (1.40m), Cocu SB Z (1.40m), Dilkene’s Dream B (1.30m), Loncorde (1.40m) and Adoctro (1.50m, international). A pedigree in which performance is passed on generation after generation.

Bonus VW combines a lot of go, carefulness and rideability with a very strong damline full of international sport horses and proven sires. A quality horse for riders looking to develop further in the sport.
