Comthago VDL combined with Balia family

Under Hessel Hoekstra, the highly talented Comthago VDL won the Grand Prix of Ommen last year, took silver at the Dutch Championships, and finished sixth in this year’s Grand Prix of Rotterdam. He has also made an excellent start in breeding, with his oldest offspring breaking through at 1.40/1.45m-level at just seven years of age. Granddam Vamalia produced, among others, the national 1.45m-level horse Damalia and the international 1.40m-level jumper Zimes Square. Vamalia herself is a half-sister to international showjumper Melvin, who was successful with Peter Wylde in the World Cup competitions, as well as to the national 1.45m horse Ramalia with Mathilde Cruchet. This direct line also produced the 1.45m-level jumper Zanco.
