Pipa VA, grey red tan APSL mare, a real stunner with a kind eye

Her super wide walk, good active trot and extremely nice uphill canter, already stand out since she was a foal and dancing alongside her mother.

She is currently in fundamental training level according to Vale de Agua’s training program (https://www.quintavaledeagua.com/index.php/va-lusitanos/breeding-development). Her calm assertive responsiveness to the riding aids of the legs and weight in the saddle are a real strength. Her natural uphill conformation makes her without a doubt a great dressage or working equitation partner.

About VA Lusitanos:
We breed our horses with care, the foals are born in the field, grow up in the herd, on hilly terrain, with trees, bushes, open parts, rivers, and a little lake, so they get used and confident with all different types of surroundings. They always have good quality hay and their portion of grains and minerals available. They learn a lot of good social behavior from each other, their moms and aunties in the herd, besides social interaction with horses, daily interaction with humans is also an important part of their education.
As we have very frequent interaction with our horses, they develop a deep trust in humans, which facilitates all of their interactions with both humans and horses. All of our customers confirm over and over again that our Lusitanos excel in confidence, calmness and ease of handling in all situations.
Since we believe that the Lusitano horse needs time to mature and develop their bones and muscular structure, we start evaluating each individual VA Lusitano when they are 4 years old. Pipa VA started her training when she was 5 years old, first on the lunge and in hand and since one year also under the saddle. 
She is currently not scored as a breeding mare, but we do believe she could be a very good breeding mare and mother.
