Yosemite Sam is one of the fanciest all-around Ponys you will ever find he check so many boxes barrels poles roping healing go on the trails pack a flag during your county rodeo all, shoot off of him, works a cutting flag all wrapped in a package that is 13 one hands and five years old. If you are raising little cowboys and cowgirls this is it coolest adventure buddy he’s even been trapping all of our neighbors skunks not afraid of dead animals he’s been shot of off of and even knows some tricks like laying down sitting like a dog still working on fetch
Don’t tell Yosemite he’s a pony, he acts & rides like a big horse would. He is absolutely ONE HAND BROKE with a good stop, back up, side pass, short lope and the list goes on! He is light, correct, and will do anything you ask of him. Yosemite has many miles in and out of the arena. He’s been used in Junior Rodeos and is no stranger to chaos! He has been patterned on the barrels and poles and has been used in the goat tying at our local
Jr rodeo heeled steers out of the box will wear out a pen of goats and your heel o matic. This guy will give your kiddo a shot every time Yosemite has been hauled and entered in youth rodeos and play-days.
Take him out on the trails. He will be your best friend and companion when youre out trapping. Shoot the 22 off of him and go gather up your traps and haul your loot home,he’s ready for your next BIG adventure. He will lay down and sit up like a dog and let your littles love on him all day long. He is just as solid and sane out on the trails as he is in any arena. He’s been cowboyed on and moved thousands and cows through the mountains. This pony crosses water, tarps, logs, teeter totter, tires and he rides in town through loud traffic, gun shots & more . He does great around dogs, goats, and vehicles!
The greatest thing he has achieved is made my cowboys who they are today, while keeping them safe. That’s the best gift I could ever ask for, for my kids to be safe while having a childhood filled with crazy adventures. He has never bucked, bit or kicked while with us. He’s been Blaze’s main pony and he has put his whole heart and soul into making Sam atop notch all around pony.
You can put him in a pasture or a stall. He gets along great with other horses. Yosemite loads, ties and bathes like a champ. He loves to share a Diet Coke or drink out of the hose.
