Shotgun is the cutest fun size mini pony! He is a very well mannered pony with a gentle and sweet personality. He is great for very young kids who are just beginning, all the way up to more experienced kids. He lead lines and rides out on his own. He is friendly and kind natured. My little kids crawl all over him in his stall and he is always gentle and kind.
Shotgun has been rode outside and in arenas. We have three kids, all under 8 years old and he has been perfectly safe around all three of them. He has been rode bareback and with a saddle. Shotgun can also pull a cart/wagon. He has been proven safe in multiple places and multiple locations with a lot of noise going on and nothing bothers him.
He does whatever is asked of him, including walking, trotting, loping, stopping and turning. My kids can chase cattle up on him, open and close gates, go through the barrel pattern and more. He doesn't get fresh. He stands tied well with good ground manners.
He is great to catch in a big pasture, and easy to load and unload in a trailer. He really is the perfect pony as he will lead line, pull a cart, ride off on his own and keep up with the other horses! His feet are in good shape. He is good to shoe. This pony has also seen the sights in cow town in Fort Worth, and traveled to jackpots in Oklahoma and more! He is not bothered by anything. He is not watchy or spooky at all. He is not buddy sour. He will go wherever your little one puts him no matter the experience. He is great for all levels. No bad habits. Good to bathe, load, trim, and catch.
