First things first—Milkshake is as gentle as they come. If she were a person, she’d be that naturally happy morning person, up at 6 a.m. without coffee, cheerful and ready to take on the day. She has the kindest, most loving personality and is truly a joy to have around the barn.
Milkshake is the kind of pony you can trust. My 6-year-old daughter, Zia, catches her on her own, hops on bareback, and rides around with complete confidence. That says everything about this pony’s nature. She’s safe, and steady.
On top of her gentle demeanor, Milkshake is as bombproof as they come. We’ve exposed her to things like blow torches,fireworks shooting the BB gun off her —so everyday obstacles like traffic, tarps, flags, and balls etc don’t faze her in the slightest.
She’s seen it all and handles it like a pro.
She’s also proven to be a handy little partner. Zia enjoys helping haze burros for her dad while he’s working young horses, Zia loves do play day events on her as well and Milkshake takes it all in stride. One of the coolest things about this pony is that my daughter put that cool little handle on her all by herself!
Milkshake has zero buck, zero run off and is a broke pony you can count on!
She’s also been used as a leadline and follow pony and does both beautifully. With her calm, easygoing nature, she is beginner-safe and very much a “whoa before go” type. That said, if a rider is confident and asks her to step it up, she’s happy to move out.
Milkshake is current on shots, Coggins, and dental—she’s ready to go and find her next kid to take care of.
