Maggie
Meet Maggie, a 6yr old mare mule standing 14.1hh. I truly don’t know where to begin on how to describe all the amazing things I have to say about this mule. We have owned Maggie for over 4 years now and I can definitely say, she’s one that’s going to be hard to let go of. You will search high and low to find a mule as calm, gentle, and good-minded as Maggie- she’s truly a once in a lifetime mule. No matter where you are, I promise she will always come find you to be loved and petted on. She has the sweetest personality, making her very desirable. She is calm on the ground, doesn’t spook at whatever is thrown her way, and always keeps a level head. We have rode Maggie many of miles through the thickest woods, she’s been on overnight camping trips where she has also been used to pack supplies, we have used her to gather and sort cattle on a ton, and one you can throw the kids on and feel safe about doing so. She is surefooted on all sorts of terrain and is experienced around lots of different animals- from Watusi cattle to buffalo, to even some water buffalo. She isn’t scared of heavy traffic, or loud atv’s and 4-wheelers. Out on the trails she is confident alone or in a group- She will happily lead or follow the pack.
Maggie will neck rein, has a smooth trot, and with just a little squeeze will pick right up into a nice, balanced lope. She stands patiently to be tacked and mounted. Throw the reins on her neck and she will follow you anywhere. She loads in and out of a trailer perfectly, you can snap at her a little and she will load herself for you. Maggie is so easy to get along with and will truly make anyone happy.
She is 100% sound-we have a recent PPE on her, and has zero bad habits.
