Further information

The most famous wild horses are the American Mustangs. The name Mustang is derived from the Spanish word 'Mestena', which means 'a group of horses'. Mexican vaqueros probably called them like that and the Americans just adopted it. In the past, millions of feral mustangs roamed the open count ... More about the horse breed Mustang (american)

Broke to ride. However, is NOT perfect. She's been ridden on small trail type rides, but nothing formal, and no hard training on riding besides getting on and going and riding/lunging in the round pen and arena. She is a little hesitant around new people, so she will need extra patience and understanding at her new home and even when meeting her here. She does typically wear front shoes in the summer because of all the rain we get and the rocks around the barns and roads we do ride on. She does not spook at vehicles. She just recently got her teeth done and all vaccines/Coggins. I did recently shave and trim off her mane due to constant knots. She's a little hesitant with clippers around her ears, but she's fine after a bit. Her ears do have issues with what we think is bugs, but can't be sure. They are mostly bald inside because she rubbed off all the hair in them last summer, and the vet gave us stuff to put in them, but it didn't help. She will come with a bag of Santa Cruz itch/allergy supplements we bought to use this year but haven't yet. She gets what we think is hives in the summer (again, likely due to bugs), but the vet wasn't sure because when she came out, they were gone, and all she had to go off of was a picture. I have led her from the barn to the pasture with just a halter. She currently rides in a special D-ring bit (I can provide a picture of it). If you want all of her tack (the western saddle and bridle with purple flowers is NOT available, it is not mine), I can let it go with her for a small extra cost, along with all brushes, etc.
