Beistellpferd

Farco, a cheerful Spanish-mix gelding! Born in 2016.  
Farco has osteoarthritis in the right hock, so he might be suitable for light riding, such as walking, but only with an extremely gentle rider. If it hurts him, he will run away.  
He is explicitly offered as a companion horse and can enjoy his life with his herd mates.  
He has been compatible with all horses so far and is not a dominant leader. He is familiar with groundwork, horsemanship, and is very sweet and friendly. However, he is also very skittish – the wind worries him. We have managed his nervousness well through desensitization exercises. He is alert and curious in his mind. He also goes for walks in the forest with me.  
Unfortunately, I cannot provide him with the security he needs (before we knew about his osteoarthritis, he bucked me off four times in canter).  
I love him dearly, but I am no longer able to meet his needs. For health reasons, I cannot care for him properly anymore.  
Additionally, the mare he was kept with has recently passed away, which has taken away the security she provided. Our current paddock is very windy, which causes him even more stress.  
We are looking for a pasture-based stable environment. Space is more important than price!
