Fogeys Dancer “Axl” is a 7yr old registered APHA gelding!
He’s a big pretty sorrel tobiano at 15.2 hands and around 1300 pounds. He has great feet and stays barefoot! He is completely sound. We’ve owned him for 2 years and he’s never taken a lame step. Axl is an easy keeper, hauls good and gets along with all of our other horses. I’ve done everything on the ranch on this horse; he’s been my go to every time that I saddle one! From gathering and sorting bucking horses, bucking bulls, and cows, he can do it all. Axl gets gates on both sides, crosses water and creeks. He rides around really quiet, but he will get up and go when asked to. We’ve roped a little on him and he handled it great. Previous owner said they lightly started him on the head side. I’ve also carried flags on him and he is good at that too! Axl is blind in his left eye, but this does NOT affect him in any way. If I didn’t tell you, you probably would never notice. He rides completely normal and is not spooky at all. Vet said the eye will not turn blue, and he will not need anything done to it now or in the future! He is current on dental, worming & coggins.
