Watch Video! DAR MR HAIDASFRECKLES, aka “Spock”, craves about the same attention as the family dog. What I like most about Spock is his go with-the-flow type of personality. He enjoys plodding around on the trail on a loose rein or heading to a weekend sorting. He has been arena ridden and used to pen cattle on the ranch. He does all the obstacles- teeter-totter, bridge, cowboy curtain, whips, tarps, gunfire and flags are old news to Spock. He has the brain of a horse twice his age, and is very receptive to what is asked of him. Spock is responsive to your leg and seat cues, with a fun turn around and deep stop off of your seat. Spock is a gentleman in the barn. He has been in both a stall environment and turned out on pasture with no bad habits. He is the perfect size for a rider with bad knees, as he is easy to get on and off, but stocky enough to carry many riders comfortably. Pictures don’t do this cute gelding justice. He has good foot and bone, giving him the opportunity to have a long successful career. He has been exposed to all farm machinery, equipment, road traffic, gunfire, deer, cattle- you name it. Sound and up to date on teeth, vaccines, Coggins, and health paper. Spock has been nothing short of a pleasure to work with since he stepped foot on our property. No matter what direction you want to go, this phenomenal gelding will be sure to take you there. He has all the buttons: side pass, turn around, leg yield, but just as easily-point and go.
