Weston is a flawless, 9 year old paint gelding standing at 16 hands tall and stout made. Weston is a true all around partner that is safe for the whole family to ride! His gentle and consistent nature makes him suitable for beginner riders while having the bells and whistles for more advanced riders to enjoy! From the ranch, to the arena, to the trails Weston is ready to do it all!
Weston is very well broke and educated! His gaits are slow, smooth and collected. He rides on the buckle or with contact and is very soft in his face! He knows his leads, has good brakes, stops, backs up and neck reins really well! Weston has given the kid’s lessons and is the same horse every time! He rides like a hunter under English tack and is honest over fences! Weston has enough motor, when asked, to excel in fox hunting, cross country, equitation, while also being forgiving and gentle enough to be a husband horse or guest horse on the trail! There isn’t much that excites this guy! He is super confident on the trails, he crosses water, bridges, railroad tracks, and is sure footed in all types of terrain! He is pretty unbothered by his surroundings and doesn’t mind loud noises, trucks, trailers, equiptment, ATVs/SXSs, bicycles, tarps, flags, balls, etc. Weston so use to going off farm that he loads and hauls like a dream, and will load off and stand tied quietly to the trailer at new places. He doesn’t need prep to go ride just saddle up and get to work!
Weston is the most uncomplicated horse in my barn! He is an easy keeper, no vices, supplements, maintenance etc. Weston has impeccable ground manners, he stands tied anywhere, loads and hauls great, stands to be clipped, bathed, brushed and saddled and is excellent for the vet, farrier and dentist!
