Flashy, sweet, and built to last
Nova
2018 Percheron x QH Mare. Nova stands at 16.1 with a stocky build. Nova is stunning to look at and is one of the prettiest horses in our barn. She easily catches everyone’s eye with her flashy coloring and correct conformation. She is sound with no known injuries or maintenance. Nova is turned out in a mixed herd and gets along well with others. She doesn’t crib, bite, kick, or weave.
In the barn, Nova has good ground manners. She stands tied quietly, clips, loads, bathes, and is good for the vet/farrier. Nova has a quiet non mareish personality. She has great stall manners and comes right to the gate to be caught.
Under english tack, Nova has a flashy trot and smooth canter. She has a nice headset, side passes, and will jump a course. Nova is honest to a fence and has no problem with any filler. She has been cross country schooled as well.
Under western tack, Nova is a comfortable ride. She will jog and lope right off your leg and picks up both leads easily. She has smooth transitions and neck reins/backs well.
On the trail, Nova will cross anything. She easily navigates difficult terrain. Nova will ride down the road in busy traffic and isn’t afraid of cars or trucks. She has been taken to the lake to swim and does great with water and bridges.
Nova has no vices undersaddle. She has previous experience with ranch work and can continue in the western direction or would make a cute dressage/hunter type with more finishing touches. We could also see her out on the hunt field being the prettiest girl in the hunt.
