This cool Suffolk Punch Quarter Horse cross gelding encompasses the best of both his parents. He has a stout, sturdy draft cross build, yet remains very athletic and handy broke. Punchy is super broke with a one-handed neck rein, nice roll back, soft backup, and a willing side pass. He’s handy with all the buttons.

Punch had been extensively ranch used in southwest Missouri on a working cattle ranch until I bought him 2 years ago. He is well-versed in cattle and ranch cuties. He has prowled pastures for new calves, has pen and sorted at weaning time, and everything in between.

Punchy has been a wonderful family mount for my family for the last 2 years. We have utilized him for every discipline or duty that we encountered a need for. He’s been ridden by riders 4, 11, 14, and 42 in my family. He’s seen trail miles all over the Midwest, state, and national parks. He’s been team sorted off of. He has been shown in Western Dressage, competitive ranch trail, and ranch rodeo. Punchy never disappoints.

Punchy stays broke whether you ride him daily, monthly, or yearly. I have used him to give lessons to my 4-year-old daughter. He neck reins easily for her, stops when asked, and loves attention.

Punch bathes, loads, and is great for the vet and farrier. No stocks needed. Punch is a great all-around gelding with excellent conformation and will continue to perform well for many years to come.
