Comthago precision and Diamant de Semilly glitter!

The dam, Fifi Diamant, received a jumping premium as a young horse and has a SWB breeding index of 140 for jumping. She was a finalist in the Breeders Trophy for 4-year-olds.

The grand-dam Anette Kannan produced Lars Casallco (by Casallco) competing at 1.35m.

The great-granddam Sally Jo produced the approved stallion Bengt Nabab 1308, winner of the stallion performance test in 2015, where he scored 10–10 from the test riders, and later competed up to 1.40m. Sally Jo also produced Konrad Obolensky (by Cornet Obolensky) at 1.45m and Diva Diamant (by Diamant de Semilly), who has a SWB breeding index of 134 for jumping.

At a relatively young age, Comthago VDL has already secured numerous placings in 5* 1.60m classes with Dutch rider Hessel Hoekstra. He combines the genetics of the phenomenal Comme Il Faut with a high-performance Holsteiner dam line. Comme Il Faut, successful with Marcus Ehning, is sired by the world-leading Cornet Obolensky, already among the top showjumping sires at a young age, while his dam is the legendary Ratina Z. The granddam Joyce I (by Caretino) competed at the highest level with both Jörg Kreutzmann and USA’s Laura Kraut. Comthago was reserve champion at his stallion performance test in Mecklenburg.
