Mare (partially rideable)

Unfortunately, my mare Stella is looking for a new owner. I’ve realized that despite my best efforts, we are not truly compatible, and our relationship tends to be more confrontational than harmonious.

She is a Thoroughbred cross, 6 years old (born in 2020), standing approximately 1.60 meters at the withers.

For the past year, I have only worked with her on the ground. She is very motivated in these exercises and responds well to body language and voice commands. However, she clearly shows signs of stress if she feels overwhelmed. She is already backed, but anyone wanting to ride her should proceed gradually and patiently. I also want to mention that Stella is not suitable for long-term or competitive riding due to soft tendons and is not a weight-bearing horse.

She has no issues with saddles or tack.

At the grooming area, she is very relaxed and thoroughly enjoys being groomed. She is shod (front shoes), but needs a gentle push when loading onto a trailer or horsebox.

In the terrain, she needs targeted training again, as she tends to become easily nervous. She requires someone she trusts deeply, and I sense that this trust is currently lacking between us.

She can only be kept in a suitable open stable with a herd, preferably mixed.

I am looking for a sensitive person for this mare—someone who can read her well, support her development, and ensure she is happy.
