Toby is an 11-year-old gelding with a wonderful character and solid basic training. He is always well-behaved, straightforward, and friendly in handling – making him a consistently kind partner in everyday riding. He is known for his rideability.

In dressage, Toby performs confidently up to elementary level (Class L). He has placed multiple times in L-level competitions. He reliably masters exercises such as shoulder-in, simple changes, and extended trot. He also executes lateral movements like travers and flying changes confidently and is currently being trained towards medium level (Class M) dressage. In show jumping, he has competition experience up to Class L. He is also experienced and calm in the cross-country, remaining relaxed and manageable even in demanding terrain.

I purchased Toby at the end of his 4th year. Together, we completed our first cross-country competitions and worked our way up to CCI1* / eventing level. Unfortunately, it became clear that his heart is not fully in eventing. Since I feel most at home in the discipline of eventing, it is with a heavy heart that I am offering him for sale.

Toby is well-suited for amateur riders with competitive ambitions, especially in dressage, or for someone looking for a well-trained, versatile horse with whom they can enjoy riding in various disciplines. He is also suitable for children and young riders.
