Checkpoint is a 2023 colt by Conthargos out of a Chacco-Blue dam sire. A very well-built, long-legged showjumper, he is only three years old but already demonstrates considerable effort, tremendous scope, good rideability, and excellent balance. He moves smoothly with a good trot, canter, and balance, and has a ground-covering canter. His jumping technique is strong and careful, with good front and hind leg technique, plenty of push-off from the ground, and carefulness over the fences. He takes a good, steady distance towards the jump. He has a lovely, friendly character, making him very appealing for anyone looking to develop a top-level sport horse. Suitable for riders from amateurs to professionals.

Checkpoint is approved with the Westphalian studbook.

His sire, Conthargos, jumped 1.35 m and, as a four-year-old, won the Deister Championships with a score of 9.5 and qualified for the Bundeschampionate before his career was cut short due to injury. As a showjumping sire, he has produced over 1,200 offspring and more than 20 approved sons, including:
- Conchento PS (Grand Prix, ridden by Gregory Wathelet)
- Cosa Nostra (Olympic Games, ridden by Alberto Michan)

His dam sire, Chacco-Blue (1.60 m), is one of the top showjumping sires worldwide. He jumped 1.60 m himself under Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst, with notable wins including Olympia London, and held the number 1 spot on the WBFSH ranking of showjumping stallions from 2017 to 2022. His progeny include:
