Boons Playful Gun is a stout built 14.2H, Chestnut, Registered Quarter Horse Gelding that is a 2022 model. He is a well bred horse being a grandson of the legendary Playgun with Peptoboonsmal on the bottom side of his pedigree! Boon has been well exposed and traveled to several states including Alabama, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee and Kentucky! He has been best mind of any young horse that you will find! He is super quiet and gentle. Very easy to handle, loves attention, he is ALWAYS the same horse whether ridden daily or turned out in the pasture for a month. Boon has done it all on the ranch from herding to sorting, pasture roping… he has been tracking the hot heels around as well and does good at that. Boon has been trail ridden in rough rocky terrain and handles it with ease. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog and a very smooth lope! He takes the correct leads, lopes nice circles, is one hand broke and reins around with ease. He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife. He has been ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Boon is a horse that the whole family will ride and enjoy as he is super quiet and gentle. Whether you want to rope or work on the ranch, trail ride or simply let the family enjoy a walk around the barn lot... Boon is a horse that will handle any of those task!
