“Snooze League” aka “Max” is a 4yr old, 15.1hh, AQHA gelding. If you are looking for a loving, in your pocket, curious, nosey, safe, fun gelding, Max is your guy. Max has a huge personality and knows how to make you laugh. He is a do it all type of guy, and is never in a rush to get anywhere! Max has an old soul, and he is a really good friend!

In the barn, Max has zero bad habits. He is quiet in his stall, and will stand on the cross ties all day long. He loves attention and will ask for pets and lovins. He is very gentle on the ground and is safe for kids and beginners to work with. He has really good ground manners and he is very respectful. Max does not mind a hectic barn, dogs running all over, children running around, etc. He is easily entertained and loves to be involved.

On the trails, Max will lead, follow, go out alone and in groups. He is willing and enjoys a good adventure!!! Max will cross logs, rocks, water, and other trail obstacles. He is safe with traffic, wildlife, bikes, and dogs. He the perfect combo of relaxing and fun, yet doesn’t get left behind by the group. Max even took a little dip in the lake to cool off. Max rides western, english, and bareback. His gaits super smoooooth and he is so simple to ride. Truthfully if you can’t ride this horse, you should probably find another hobby. Max is very forgiving and can certainly take a joke. He has packed around kids and beginners and has proved to be gentle with them. Max has comfortable, smooth gaits, which help with building confidence and learning, as you can work on yourself and not worry about flopping all over the place. If you want to look good while being safe, here is the horse for you.

In the ring, max will walk, jog, trot, lope, canter, and knows his leads. Max neck reins, and moves off of leg. He will pivot, back up, has a good whoa button, and I love riding him bridle-less. He is responsive but not sensitive, making him fun for an advanced rider, yet safe enough for a beginner. For me, he rides with the perfect combo of whoa and go, with a beginner on him, he dulls it down and will go around as a push ride. He is very intelligent and can certainly tell the difference between his riders. Max learns very fast, and does not get upset when you are trying to teach him something new. Max has been recently introduced to jumping and he enjoys it! He has not been jumped a lot nor high due to his age, but he has been very honest to fences and stays slow and easy. He would make a cute little hunter. Max has dabbled in western pleasure as well, and could certainly go have fun in the show ring! Max has the potential to head in any direction at this point in his life!

Max has fantastic blood lines, his grandsire, “Invitation Only” was the AQHA leading sire from 2006-2013, and the number one all time leading sire for western pleasure earnings. He is in the NSBA hall of fame, and he is the sire of 210+ World Championships, and Congress Championships. Another well known name found on his papers is “Zippo Jack Bar” , who is also known for his success in western pleasure, he is also in the NSBA hall of fame. He is sired by world known “Zippo Pine Bar”. “Two Eyed Jack” is a little further back in Max’s bloodlines, but he should be mentioned as well, as not only was he successful in the western pleasure show pen, he also performed in roping, reining, working cow, hunter under saddle, and more. Max has versatility written all over him, and his bloodlines are here to prove it. Whether you want to have fun, show, trail ride, or anything else under the sun, Max is built to go and do it all.

Max is an easy keeper. Simple diet, no maintenance, can live in or out. Gets along great with other horses and has a puppy dog personality. He comes running to you in the pasture! Max does wear a full fly sheet, his chestnut coat is prone to bug bites so I keep him covered. He is great for the vet and farrier. He loads and trailers well. You can tie him to the trailer to get ready. He is currently out with a mixed herd and wants nothing to do with drama. Max enjoys a good bath and pretty much any sort of attention lol.
