Specter is a promising and well-developed young horse with a fantastic temperament and a unique red coat with white ticking.

He is well-balanced, seeks contact, and is relatively easy to handle in all situations, considering his age.
He moves rhythmically, with elasticity, good energy, and forwardness – making him a clear prospect for future championships and sport.

Specter was started under saddle by Mike Mihaita in the spring. Since then, he has had a growth break over the summer and has not been ridden since the initial backing. He was gelded in April.

A 2-year-old brother by Highfive Fuglsang is also available for viewing.

He has an impressive pedigree and comes from the successful "Engsøgaard line", bred by Danish breeding icons Knud and Margit Nielsen, Ølsted.

Dam: Barilla was first presented for mare grading with Specter at foot in 2022.
Barilla’s brother, Fürstenblick by Fürstenball, competed internationally in dressage under Anne Troensegaard in 2019 and 2020. He was later sold to Emilie Balling Nissen, a consistent member of the top tier of Danish youth dressage, who has represented Denmark at several international competitions. (Video of Anne and Fürstenblick is available.)

Granddam: Bernadett by Bernstein, DVH 696, is a bronze medal mare (BRDH).

Great-granddam: Barbara by Rambo, DVH 373, is an elite silver medal mare (ESRDH). She is also the dam of the bronze medal mare Brokade and the gold medal mare Bolivia.

Great-great-granddam: Ballet by Waldstern, DE333330300280, is an elite mare (EDH). Ballet is the dam of the licensed stallion Barolo V, DVH 1048, and the elite mare Bolette V.

Great-great-great-granddam: Bianca by Allegro, Hann314717172DH, is also an elite mare (EDS).

You can explore more of his pedigree here (please note that as it is a German database, not all offspring may be registered):
