Ein echtes Lieblingspferd für den Offenstall: Snowslip ist ein 5-jähriger, 14,2 hh großer, GHRA-registrierter Gypsy Vanner-Wallach. Er trägt einen schwarzen Medicine Hat, eine prächtige doppelte Mähne und beeindruckende volle Federn. Snowslip hat eine traditionelle Koby-Statur, mit Sattel- und Steigbügel- Linien an Ober- und Unterseite, und vereint den Geist und die Athletik eines echten Cob. Seit Ende letzten Sommers ist er Teil unseres Herdenverbands, und in dieser Zeit haben wir miterlebt, wie er warmherzig, freundlich und selbstbewusst geworden ist.
Auf dem Ranch und im Gelände ist Snowslip ruhig und mutig – er lässt sich nicht von neuen Umgebungen beeindrucken, reitet entspannt an der Zügel und steht ruhig, während man sich mit Freunden unterhält. Er ist ein sehr glückliches Trail-Pferd.
Im Dressurviereck zeigt er sich vorwärts, leistungsbereit, reagiert fein auf Schenkelhilfen, ist im Maul leichtführig und in enger Abstimmung mit seinem Reiter. Er zeigt eine schöne, natürliche Versammlung. Sein Trab ist weich und gut zu sitzen, sein Galopp macht großen Spaß – er ist elegant und hat eine tolle Motorik! Wenn Sie nach einem Gypsy suchen, der sowohl im Western- als auch im englischen Dressur- oder Trail-Sport glänzen kann, ist er eine ausgezeichnete Wahl. Wir haben ihn auch leicht über Hindernisse gearbeitet, was ihm offensichtlich großen Spaß gemacht hat. In diesem Wallach gibt es kein Buckeln, Durchgehen, Reiern, Treten oder Beißen.
Snowslip ist ruhig am Boden, lädt und entlädt problemlos, steht ruhig beim Hufschmied, beim Kämmen, Waschen und Braiden. Er ist momentan barhuf und hat starke, robuste Hufe. Er ist einfach zu pflegen, lebt derzeit nur von Heu und ist ruhig in der Herde, am unteren Ende der Rangordnung. Er ist gesund, aktuell tierärztlich untersucht und hat frisch geflochtene Zähne.
Aktueller, sauberer Tierarzt-Check / PPE liegt vor und kann auf Wunsch eingesehen werden.

𝐀 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞, Snowslip is a 5 year old 14.2h GHRA Registered Gypsy Vanner gelding. He wears a black Medicine Hat and sports a glorious double mane and gorgeous full feathers. Snowslip has a traditional cob build, boasting 𝐒𝐃 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐦 and has all the spirit and athleticism that a true cob possesses. Snowslip has been a part of our herd since the end of last summer and in that time we’ve had the pleasure of watching him grow warm, friendly and confident.
Out at the ranch and on the trails, Snowslip is 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞 - not fazed by new surroundings, he’ll ride around on a relaxed rein and stand quietly while you chat with your friends. He’s a very 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞.
In the arena, Snowslip is forward moving, performance driven, responsive to leg pressure, light in the bridle and in tune with his rider. He has beautiful, natural collection. His jog is soft and easy to sit and his lope is super fun to ride - he is 𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐫! If you’re in the market for a gypsy that could excel in Western or English dressage or trail competitions, he is an excellent candidate. We have also started him lightly over fences and he seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. Zero buck, bolt, rear, kick or bite in this gelding.
Snowslip is quiet on the ground, loads and unloads with ease, stands peacefully for the farrier and to be clipped, bathed and braided. He is currently barefoot and has strong, solid feet. He is an 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫, currently on a forage only diet and is quiet in the herd, falling near the bottom of the pecking order. He is sound, UTD and has freshly floated teeth.
