The Irish Thoroughbred evolved from the English Thoroughbred, which is retraceable to the 15th century. Especially after the export of English Thoroughbreds to the United States gained in importance, the breeding of Thoroughbreds in Ireland got evermore popular.

Our friendly, well-socialized 11-year-old Irish Thoroughbred mare is seeking a new role.
After a recovery year at the North Sea following an injury (a pasture accident) that has now healed, the mare demonstrated a special talent for caring for and training young horses during foal-raising. She could therefore also be of interest as a broodmare or recipient mare.
Before her pasture accident, she was regularly ridden and is described from that time as a fearless, reliable leisure and trail riding horse.
Currently in training rebuild, her long-term suitability as a riding horse cannot yet be definitively assessed, so we are initially offering her as a companion or turnout horse. However, she is eager to work again and shows motivation both on the lunge and on the ground.
Approximate height: 16.1 hh, regularly vaccinated and dewormed, currently shod in front.
