Meet ✨Mack✨!
This gelding is a 10 year old, Perch/MorganX standing a sturdy 16.1-2hh. This boy is an absolute tank! He’s stocky without being too tall which makes him suitable for a variety of riders. He will ride Western, English, and he’s broke to drive. Mack is easy and straightforward both on the trail and in the ring. He’s incredibly light through the hand, and he’s so comfortable he’s like sitting on a couch! ✨
Mack has had many miles out on the trail, and he’d be a great option for the husband or guests to take out! He will happily lead or follow, and he loves to go out with happy ears forward the whole time! In his past home, he was a trusted farmhand for some field work, and toting the kids all over the trails. With us he’s been trailered off property to different trails, gone swimming, and been through and over bridges and creeks. He’s solid and straightforward. He’s not a complete deadhead, and will happily pick up for a trot or canter out! He’d be a great one for 2nd or 3rd flight fox hunting, or to take on fun paper chases! He’s been cross country and will pop over logs and little combinations. He’s has cute knees and an honest jump! Mack’s probably not going to win the Grand Prix at anything, but if you’re looking for a good ol’ boy you can relax with- here he is.⭐️
In the ring, Mack is a light feeling ride, and super comfortable! He’s the easiest horse ever to sit trot on- and he’s a nice in between of whoa and go. He stops immediately with a whoa or sitting back, and he has a good work ethic if you want him to move out. His favorite canter lead is to left, and due to mainly being a trail horse we’re working on getting him stronger on that right lead! He has nice floaty movement at the trot and canter, and it feels like you’re on a cloud! He’s not one to get easily upset at a mistake, and he’s packed a variety of riders including beginners. 🥰
Mack is a sweet boy, that tends to have a more stoic personality on the ground. He’s the type that will warm up to you once he knows you’re his person, and not everyone gets his affection! He’s never rude or pushy, he’s always respectful and behaved for brushing, tacking up, braiding, and bathing. He’s a gentleman for the vet farrier and dentist and does not require any maintenance or stocks for shoieng. We think Mack would be the perfect husband horse for the trail or a similar job! This boy is in his prime, and has lots of life to give his next person. We want a great fit for this special gelding! ❤️
