Ranger is the true definition of a unicorn. This little horse has a heart the size of Texas and the sweetest, most honest personality you’ll ever find. He tries his absolute best every single time, no matter what you ask of him.
Over the past year, Ranger has been everywhere and done everything — and he does it all with ease. Youth rodeos, playdays, ropings, trail rides, endurance races (where he won 1st place in the youth division!), jumping, mounted shooting, parades, shown in ranch trail, kids camps, leadline, bareback in just a halter, splashing through rivers, lakes, tanks… you name it, Ranger has done it. There’s no spook, no silliness — just a solid, willing partner every ride.
Ranger stands 13.1 hands tall and is 11 years old. There isn’t anything this Quarter Pony can’t do, and he amazes us more and more every day. We cannot wait to see him under some lucky kid’s Christmas tree — he is truly that once-in-a-lifetime pony kids dream of.
He’s fully up to date on vaccinations, coggins, recent teeth floating, routine deworming, and he has perfect feet with no maintenance required. Ranger is the kind of pony who will teach a kid how to be a horseman.
He loads and unloads easily, does great in the herd, you can catch him anywhere, and he ties quietly at the trailer like a gentleman. From the littlest riders to the big kids, everyone can enjoy him. He’ll go as slow or as fast as they ask, stops beautifully, turns effortlessly, and works just as well in a short-shank hackamore, a bit, or even just a halter.
