“Marty” is a 12 yr old palomino gelding standing at a stout 12.2 hands tall and is handmade and as flashy as you can find for little cowboys looking for their next mount to go use with mom and dad. Marty is as ranchy as they get. He has seen all the sites on a busy ranch and has been used for every chore on our place . Marty has been hauled to playdays and youth rodeos all over Texas ! He is unfazed by tractors, side by sides, cattle, cats, dogs and feral children dragging him around like a dog. He will stay gentle in any situation he’s stuck in, whether the kids decide to bring him in the house , drag him to the pond or jump off him into the pool or rope the dummy in the yard for hours . Marty is a gentleman on the ground in every way. He has also been trail rode through swampy ground, thick briars, over logs and through the creeks and ponds and he’s stays sure footed and level headed. Marty would work for leadline kids just starting out or for bigger kids ready for a step up pony to go rodeo on or use out on the ranch. He is heavy made and big enough for mom and dad to keep tuned up. Marty has the smoothest little slow lope and a big stop! This is a really cool little gelding that anyone would be lucky to own.
