Squidward is a 12 year old Quarter Pony cross gelding standing 12.2 hands high. If gentle, quiet, and kind is what you’re in the market for - Squiddy is your man! He has always been an old soul who enjoys taking care of his kiddos, both in the ring and out on the ranch. He is always polite, thoughtful, and patient. Whether the kids are out riding in the cattle, on the trails, or taking a riding lesson, we know they are in good hands on Squidward’s back.

In the ring, Squidward is a walk trot pro and happy to teach the ropes to beginners. He picks up both leads, has great brakes, and is overall an easy ride. He will trot over small jumps and will do logs, coupes, and walls on the cross country course too!

On the trails and out on the farm, Squidward has the most of his miles. He packs the kids around on all types of terrain; from the cow pastures, to the hills, the forest, and beyond! He crosses water, pops over logs, and is unbothered by his surroundings. He’s been ridden in stockyards, in town, and on ice cream dates. Squidward is a gentleman off property, and is very used to loading up and going new places. He stands tied to, or on the trailer patiently. You can tie him to a tree, a tractor, or a hitching rail and he’ll be just where you left him. This is a pony that’s gone all over with us and is always dependable and no drama for the kids to take out and ride.

In the barn, Squidward is a gentle soul. He’s a good boy for all the usual barn tasks and enjoys the attention from the little ones. He has great ground manners, is patient, and is a pleasure to have around. Squidward lives out in a mixed herd of mares and geldings. He’s an easy keeper with no vices or maintenance.
