Quarter-Haflinger-Mix-Wallach, 18 J., 148 cm

Fritz is a 2007-born Quarter-Haflinger cross gelding measuring 14.6 hands. I acquired him in 2022 from a private owner; he previously lived on a children's holiday farm, where he was also born.  

Fritz is a very friendly, somewhat reserved but approachable gelding. He is lower in the herd hierarchy and seeks plenty of social contact through grooming with his fellow horses.  

He has been ridden for a long time in Western style and has mostly been used as a leisure horse in recent years, with very little riding in the last few years. Fritz is soft in the mouth and easy to ride with weight aids, but he is not trained and lacks significant routine. He is motivated and attentive outdoors and has been ridden by riding students in the past. However, I would not consider him suitable as a beginner's horse, as he requires clear leadership.  

Fritz has always been kept in an open stable and should continue to live in this type of housing. Stall confinement is not an option for him. He is barefoot, willingly gives his hooves, and does not bite or kick. His teeth are checked and floated annually. It is important to mention that Fritz has had laminitis in the past.  

He is suitable for people looking for a very friendly leisure horse. He enjoys human company, is playful, and greets you with a friendly nicker.
