Tonka is a 9-year-old Quarter Pony standing a stout 12.2 hands tall. If you’ve ever wanted a true “mini Quarter Horse,” Tonka is exactly that. He is built thick, wide, and strong with plenty of bone, and you would be hard-pressed to find a prettier pony. He has all the looks of a big Quarter Horse packed into a smaller package, along with the athleticism, ability, and work ethic to match. Don’t let his size fool you—Tonka has absolutely no idea how little he is. He is quick, athletic, incredibly smart, and rides much more like a broke horse than your typical pony. He has spent his life having a job and has been ranched on, roped on, ridden countless miles down the trail, and used around cattle. He is the kind that can go all day, keep up with the big horses, and never seems to run out of gas. Whether you’re checking cows, doing ranch work, covering country, or simply spending the day riding trails, Tonka is happy when he has something to do.
