Casanova is just turning 4 yrs old and is stunning dappled gray WARLANDER STALLION. Standing 16 hands tall. Yes 16 hands. He is a big stout long legged guy. He is half Friesian and half Lusitano. We know the people that bred and raised him. They owed both parents. They specialize in the warlander breed. They hand raised this magical creature. He has been handled since the day he was born. He is gentle and kind. He has a naturally docile gene. He truly loves to be around people. He meets you at the gates. Loves attention. Very playful. Absolutely loves balls and rope toys. Loves to carry them around tossing them in the air. He is so much fun not only to ride but just also be around. Very quit and easy to handle. We have never had to use a stud chain on him. Not even around mares in heat. If you tell him no he will not even look at them.
He knows lots of fancy moves. Started correct with an excellent foundation. Has a very unique way of traveling. He rides nothing like a quarter horse. Imagine driving a Porsche. That is what it’s like riding him. He has been thought some dressage. He is young athletic, intelligent, versatile. Ready to go on and do big things. He would make an excellent show horse. Whether is dressage or jumping. Or just use him as a trail horse. He rides both English and western. Doesn’t matter to him. He just wants to please.
We made the decision to leave him a stud so can use him bred if wanted. Imagine the beautiful babies he would sire. He is the quietest most well behavior stud!! He is in a paddock with 2 mares and miniature gelding pony!! He is not mean or hard to handle. When you ride him he acts just like a gelding. Yes you could easily make him a gelding if you wanted. But wanted to leave that option open.
